Gothic and rock music - "M<unk>era Luna": 25,000 visitors are expected in Hildesheim
From Medieval Rock through Alternative, Gothic to Electro: The "M'era Luna Festival" is once again drawing around 25,000 fans of the so-called Black Scene to Hildesheim this weekend. Nearly 40 bands and musicians such as ASP, VNV Nation, and Epica will perform on multiple stages at Hildesheim-Drispenstedt Airport, as announced by the concert promoter.
German rock band ASP is on a jubilee tour, while electronic band Front 242 is on a farewell tour. Additionally, there will be an extensive fringe program featuring readings, panel discussions, writing, dance, and makeup workshops, as well as a fashion show.
According to the organizers, the festival has been taking place since the year 2000 and is considered one of the largest German festivals of the scene alongside the Wave-Gothic-Meeting in Leipzig.
