Lutz van der Horst, a funny-bone tickler on ZDF's "heute-show" who isn't shy about poking fun at politicians, admitted to feeling a twinge of guilt over one question. "Normally, I'm pretty good at figuring out where the line is. But there was this one time, I thought afterwards, 'Bloody hell! What did you just ask? That was way out of line!'" shared the 49-year-old with the German Press Agency. Sadly, the question itself remains a secret. "But let me tell you, I'm not giving away the question or the person it was directed at."

Conversing with political figures continues to fill him with delight. "The thrill lies in busting through the conventional answers and extracting an unexpected response or reaction from them. It's enjoyable because they're well-versed in rhetoric."

Cologne's TV personality has now teamed up with comedian Ilka Bessin ("Cindy aus Marzahn") for the podcast "Nobody Asks Us". Every Friday, they tackle questions previously posed to other celebrities.

In a responder's shoes, he finds it less daunting. "When addressing questions, I'm much more laid-back because I can't revise my answers beforehand. However, when I'm the one posing the questions, there's usually a lot of prep work involved. I need to research the topic, learn about the person, and brainstorm potential questions."

The media often highlights Lutz van der Horst's entertaining interviews on ZDF's "heute-show". The media also features the popular podcast "Nobody Asks Us," where Lutz and Ilka Bessin discuss questions posed to other celebrities.
