An airline is being discussed. - Lufthansa trials complimentary coffee and tea service.
Earlier, Lufthansa CEO Jens Ritter said in various interviews that a trial would happen, possibly resulting in higher customer satisfaction. Today it was found out that selected drinks like tea or coffee will be provided for certain passengers. Their responses will be part of the regular customer satisfaction surveys.
In 2021's summer, Lufthansa eliminated the free beverage service in economy class and introduced paid options. Flyers were given one bottle of water and a piece of chocolate for free. Hot beverages would cost between 3 to 3.50 Euro, and tomato juice was 3.20 Euro.

The trial of complimentary coffee and tea service by Lufthansa is part of their efforts to improve air traffic and customer satisfaction in Germany. Passengers on certain flights will now receive drinks such as tea and coffee, and their feedback will contribute to the airline's regular customer satisfaction surveys. Interestingly, this change comes after Lufthansa's previous policy in 2021, where paid options for hot beverages were introduced in economy class during flights out of Frankfurt am Main's airport.
