Point guard Johannes Patrick is staying with Bundesliga club MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg for another year.

Coach's son stays - Ludwigsburg extends basketball player Patrick until 2025

Basketball-Bundesligist MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg has extended the contract of point guard Johannes Patrick by another year. The 22-year-old son of coach John Patrick will now stay with the team in Ludwigsburg until 2025, the club announced.

The 1.86 meter tall professional comes from MHP Riesen's youth and is starting his eleventh season with them. On the other hand, Desure Buie is leaving Ludwigsburg. The American point guard will play for BC Neptunas Klaipeda in Lithuania in the future.

MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg, based in Baden-Württemberg, Germany, is renowned for its participation in the International Basketball Federation's (FIBA) European competitions, showcasing its prominence not just domestically but also on the global stage. Despite Desure Buie's departure to BC Neptunas Klaipeda in Lithuania, the Bundesliga team continues to strengthen its roster, as evidenced by Johannes Patrick's extension until 2025.
