German League 2: Bundesliga's Second Division - Lower league team Braunschweig allows for Krüger's departure.
Braunschweig's second-division football team, Eintracht, has chosen not to fully commit to Florian Kruger. They've stated that they won't be using their purchase option for the 25-year-old footballer. Kruger had previously been loaned from FC Groningen.
In their last season, Kruger played in 22 matches but only started in 12. He still has a contract with FC Groningen, where he is bound until 2026.

Despite Eintracht Braunschweig's decision not to exercise their purchase option for Florian Kruger, the Dutch midfielder still has a future in Bundesliga 2 as he continues to contractually bind himself to FC Groningen until 2026. In the upcoming season, Kruger might get a chance to showcase his skills in soccer, possibly even with another Lower Saxony club.
