Happiness - Lotto-Toto: Almost 1.25 million for charitable projects

From the Altmark-Festspieles to the restoration of church windows: Lotto-Toto Sachsen-Anhalt supports charitable projects in the region with nearly 1.25 million Euro. The supervisory board approved the funding for 47 projects, as a Lotto-Spokesperson announced. The highest individual grant of 75,000 Euro will go towards the new construction of the stationary hospice in Stendal. 70,000 Euro will be allocated to an Osterburg project, which helps children and youths find their way to regular school attendance or vocational training.

More than one third of the approved funding goes to sports projects, as well as the environment, culture, and monument preservation. For instance, 10,000 Euro contributes to the Evangelical Parish of Wulkau in the Stendal district, enabling it to restore five windows over 100 years old and other special windows, as stated.

The funding comes from lottery winnings for products from Lotto-Toto Sachsen-Anhalt. Approximately 20 cents of every euro invested go towards charitable projects in the region. The funding is granted multiple times a year.

Happiness can be found in the restored church windows of the Evangelical Parish in Wulkau, funded by Lotto-Toto Sachsen-Anhalt's charitable contributions. This Saxony-Anhalt initiative also supports social affairs, such as the project in Osterburg, which receives 70,000 Euro to help children and youths achieve regular school attendance or vocational training. Despite focusing on games of chance, a significant portion of Lotto-Toto Sachsen-Anhalt's finances is allocated to meaningful projects, ensuring that a portion of every investment contributes to local development and well-being.
