Weather forecast - Lots of sun at the weekend - but also rain and thunderstorms

For those planning to do something outdoors in Bavaria during the weekend, the German Weather Service (DWD) advises being prepared for various weather scenarios. According to the DWD, it may rain and thunder on both Saturday and Sunday. However, there will also be sunny intervals.

For those planning to watch the EM-Game between Germany and Spain on Friday evening with other fans outdoors, there is a warning: The DWD predicts that the sun will frequently come out on Friday, and it is expected to remain dry. Temperatures along the Inn could reach up to 26 degrees Celsius. The night to Saturday is predicted to be partly cloudy but dry.

The DWD forecasts temperatures of around 22 degrees Celsius at Spessart and Rhön on Saturday, and up to 30 degrees in parts of Lower Bavaria. During thunderstorms, there is a risk of gale-force winds. The night to Sunday is expected to bring further rain and possibly some initial thunderstorms. The predicted high temperatures on Sunday, according to the DWD, will be between 19 and 24 degrees.

Despite the potential thunderstorms in Munich on both Saturday and Sunday, the weekend isn't entirely dampened as the weather forecast also includes sunny intervals. If you're in Munich during the weekend, be mindful of the rain and thunderstorm warnings issued by the German Weather Service (DWD). On Sunday, although there might be thunderstorms early on, temperatures are expected to range between 19 and 24 degrees Celsius, providing opportunities for outdoor activities.
