- Lost roof tent on highway

Due to parts of a roof tent that came loose on the highway, ten vehicles were damaged in Middle Franconia. A 45-year-old was driving her car on the A6 on Tuesday when, near Nuremberg, her roof tent detached and spread across all three lanes. The cause was likely a technical malfunction. Ten vehicles drove over the tent parts, resulting in an estimated 25,500 euros in damage, with no injuries reported.

Despite the accident involving a roof tent on the A6, causing damage to ten vehicles, the drivers were fortunate that no women were among those affected. After the incident, authorities urged women to carefully check their own roof tents before embarking on long journeys.
