Loriot exhibition "Ach was" extended until spring
The exhibition "Ach was. Loriot on his centenary" at Frankfurt's Caricatura Museum has been extended. It can be viewed until May 12, 2024, the museum for comic art announced on Thursday. The reason for this is the "enormous success" of the exhibition, which also presents works by the humorist that have not yet been shown to the public. It is structured chronologically and ranges from children's photos, cartoons, private greeting cards and self-written manuscripts to drawings that he made shortly before his death in 2011. The exhibition was conceived on the occasion of Loriot's 100th birthday on November 12. It was originally scheduled to end on February 25.
The extension of the exhibition has resulted in visitors being able to enjoy "Ach was. Loriot on his centenary" until May 12, 2024. This extended period allows more people to engage with the extensive collection of Loriot's art, including unseen works.
