Long imprisonment for the killing of a 14-year-old girl in Bad Emstal, Hesse

A 21-year-old man has been given an 11-year, 9-month sentence at a social therapy facility for killing a 14-year-old girl, according to the Kassel Regional Court. The court's spokesperson revealed on Wednesday that this Individual will be kept in preventive detention.

In a recent case, the court determined that a 20-year-old man had forced himself on a teenage friend in a secluded area near Bad Emstal in September. The reason for his actions was to satisfy his sexual urges. Following their death, he further violated them by meddling with the body and making a portion of this incident into a video recording using his mobile phone. As a result, he was found guilty of desecrating the tranquility of the deceased.

The girl had been missing since the 27th of September. The next day, her body was discovered close to a pathway in Bad Emstal. From the onset, the authorities suspected the now-accused individual due to his presence in the relevant location at the time of the youngsters' disappearance.

After the discovery of the body, investigators paid close attention to his statements. He was taken into custody that very evening. While seizing various objects, his phone was also obtained. Besides the teenager's phone, his devices also contained compromising video files.
