The Frankfurt Lions have secured the services of young forward Hannu Tripcke. The German Ice Hockey League (DEL) team revealed the news on Wednesday, noting that the 18-year-old has been handed a contract extending until 2027.
Hannu Tripcke is hailed as a highly skilled player and joins the team after an impressive season with the Eisbären Juniors Berlin, during which they secured the runner-up position in the German Junior League.
Lions' sports director Daniel Heinrizi expressed his enthusiasm for this new recruit, saying, "Hannu is a promising young talent that we aim to groom methodically for the DEL level. His forte is in offense - he possesses a knack for scoring, which is not easily acquired."
