Around 30 children and 20 caretakers had a narrow escape when lightning struck a hut. During a thunderstorm in the afternoon, the building in Dürbheim (Tuttlingen district), which serves as a ski hut in winter, was hit by lightning, as police reported. No one was injured. According to the reports, there was smoke. All people were reportedly brought to safety.

The thunderstorm caused a disturbance in the weather, making it ideal for the lightning strike. After the lightning strike, the weather remained turbulent with continued thunder and rain.
