Rendsburg-Eckernförde - Light aircraft comes off the runway: Pilot injured
A pilot deviated from the runway during landing approach at Schachtholm airfield (district Rendsburg-Eckernförde). The front wheel broke off, causing the ultralight aircraft to roll over, according to the fire department. When the emergency responders arrived, the pilot had already been freed from the single-engine aircraft. He was taken to a clinic in an ambulance. There was initially no information on the cause of the accident on Thursday evening.
