Intense Weather: A Storm Onslaught - Lessons are called off in regions stricken by flooding.
Because of the heavy flooding, at least 18 schools in six German districts - Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm, Aichach-Friedberg, Neuburg-Schrobenhausen, Freising, Fürstenfeldbruck, and Dachau - won't have in-person lessons this week. The Ministry of Culture recently shared this update on a Sunday afternoon. These districts have been drastically hit by the floods.
Starting from Monday, you won't find any physical classes in primary, middle, and high schools of Aichach-Friedberg district, along with its grammar schools, vocational and professional high schools, and special education centers. Also, primary schools in Baar-Ebenhausen and Hohenwart from Pfaffenhofen district won't have any physical classes on Monday and Tuesday. The same applies to primary, middle, and high schools in Schrobenhausen and its accompanying vocational school, special education center, and grammar school. These areas will be out of commission for two days.
