Current Climate Conditions - Less intense rain and thunderstorms occur.

The German Weather Service, DWD, predicted storms and showers in southern Free State for Sunday evening, with up to 40 liters of rain per square meter at the Alpine border. However, a Flood Forecasting Service spokesperson noted that the rain wasn't as intense as anticipated, with only minor rises in a few southern Danube tributaries and the river itself.

Monday is expected to have significant rainfall in southern and southeastern Bavaria, with showers lasting longer at the start of the day. However, the rain is forecast to lessen towards the end of the day. In Unterfranken, there could be increasing rain later in the evening. The chief meteorologists predict a day of alternating sun and clouds, with temperatures ranging from 16-23 degrees, making it slightly cooler than before.

Tuesday is expected to have light rain in the Alpine region, with temperatures between 12-18 degrees. The day will be mostly cloudy overall, with drier conditions elsewhere. Wednesday's forecast predicts light rain in the Alpine region and southeast, with temperatures once again ranging between 12-18 degrees. Occasional spells of sunny weather are also expected.
