Criminal Activity - Legal action following a racist incident at an outdoor pool in Stuttgart.
Three individuals, aged 20, 23, and 25 years back then, are accused of displaying a banner reading "Return for secure swimming pools" on the rooftop of the cash desk building at an island bath in Stuttgart's Untertürkheim area. They also lit cigarettes, shouted loud statements, and threw flyers from the same location.
A spokesperson for the prosecutor's office mentioned that the motive behind this incident and the banner's inscription, as well as the flyers, seem to suggest an underlying xenophobic sentiment. It is believed that the perpetrators were motivated by sexual assaults allegedly committed by young men at swimming pools.
The local Amtsgericht Stuttgart-Bad Cannstatt is now tasked with determining whether to initiate a full trial.
