- Law enforcement terminates birthday celebration on motorized drinking vehicle
The law enforcers brought an overly boisterous birthday celebration on a homemade beer bike in Gielow close to Malchin (Mecklenburg Lake District) to a halt over the weekend. Neighbors had lodged complaints about the ruckus well into the night, as mentioned in the police report. Officers halted the noisy contraption, piloted by a 57-year-old, with a 53-year-old providing additional horsepower, and shut it down.
The Vehicle was taken into custody
Onlookers reported that individuals were occupying the vehicle, which featured a flat surface, beer mug holders, and two beer-dedicated benches, having departed from a birthday bash. Nevertheless, the occupants had vacated the vehicle prior to the police arrival. Alcohol screening revealed a reading of 0.81% for the 57-year-old and 1.56% for his companion. The police confiscated the vehicle and launched an inquiry against the two men.
The occupants were initially unwilling to cooperate with the police officers, but they eventually complied. The local Police department is now investigating the men for public intoxication and disturbance of peace.
