Unlawful Act or Misconduct - Law enforcement officials employ warning shot and taser to subdue suspect

An intruder was apprehended by the cops in Berlin-Friedrichshain on a Monday night. People notified the police around 10:40 PM, as this 28-year-old fellow had been smashing the windows of a supermarket with a four-sided stick in Eldenaer Straße, as disclosed the next day. The bloke encountered the cops at Park Forckenbeckplatz. Here, he advanced toward the officers with the four-sided stick and kept going even after getting a whiff of tear gas. A cop then fired a warning shot into the sky. The guy was then subdued by a Taser, an electric stun gun. Seven police officers got hurt during the operation, five of them due to tear gas.

The intruder's reckless actions, including smashing windows with a four-sided stick and advancing towards the police despite warnings, could have potentially led to a fatal electric shock, had the officers resorted to using their Tasers in a different manner. Regardless, the incident highlighted the risky nature of crime scenes in Berlin, as evidenced by the seven officers injured during the operation.
