- Law enforcement officials apprehended an individual twice within the span of a single day.

Someone Calls the Cops on a Suspected Bicycle Thief

First off, a bystander spotted what seemed like a purloined bicycle incident and contacted the authorities. The cops managed to track down the individual a few blocks away, but he decided to flee on foot across the highway, as per the police reports. He got apprehended later in a nearby neighborhood due to suspicions of substance abuse, which led to a blood test. He was subsequently let go.

Dude Arrested Shortly After Release

Mere minutes following his release, the same 31-year-old man drew the attention of the officers once more. This time, he was reportedly attempting to gain unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle.

During this second arrest, the individual allegedly exhibited aggressive behavior, causing harm to two police officers. There were also claims that during the first arrest, the 31-year-old had attacked and wounded an officer.

Request for Detention Order

The Public Prosecutor's Office of Nuremberg-Fürth submitted an application for a detention order. The judge is now responsible for determining whether the man should be held in prison until the trial takes place.

Despite his recent run-ins with the law, the man still frequented the streets of Bavaria. His latest misdemeanor involved attempting to break into a car in Munich.

Given his history of violent behavior and potential threats to public safety, the prosecutors believed it was necessary to keep him in Bavarian detention centers until his trial.
