Law enforcement agents in Schleswig-Holstein have scored a major victory against the drug trade by apprehending a supposed operator of a meth lab. A 32-year-old man from Lübeck and a 34-year-old man from Bad Schwartau are believed to have been running the operation, as announced by police and prosecutors on a Wednesday.
In their search of six apartments in Bad Schwartau, Lübeck, and Bad Oldesloe, authorities found 63 kilograms of meth, 15 kilograms of marijuana, and around 10,000 ecstasy pills, with an estimated street value of 883,000 euros. Besides, they discovered various chemicals for making meth, two stun guns, several knives, and almost 9,000 euros in cash.
They have issued arrest warrants against the two men and a 26-year-old suspect from Bad Oldesloe (Kreis Stormarn) for alleged drug trafficking in large quantities. The 32-year-old, who had reportedly used the name Walter White, a reference to the television series "Breaking Bad," was captured on June 6th, during his alleged transaction of 20 kilograms of meth with the 26-year-old, who himself is accused of collaborating with other suspects to import larger amounts of marijuana and other narcotics from Spain.
