At the periphery of a wedding celebration in Ruppertsberg, Rhineland-Palatinate, specifically in the district of Bad Dürkheim, a police K9 caused harm to a two-month-old infant. The baby girl was rushed to the hospital via air ambulance, and despite initial concerns, she's reported to be stable, as per the Rhineland-Palatinate Police Headquarters in Ludwigshafen. The dog in question is a Belgian Malinois, serving at this very headquarters.

The mishap took place during an outdoor social gathering that followed the civil wedding ceremony. The precise details about the nature of the injury are still unclear, but there's speculation that the dog might have nipped at the infant. The K9 handler, who was a guest at the wedding, was present when the incident happened. At that moment, the dog was being guided by the handler's spouse. An investigation into potential negligent physical harm has been initiated. The dog is currently with its handler, as confirmed by a police representative.

The incident involving the police K9 and the two-month-old infant occurred during the following outdoor social gathering. Despite the ongoing investigation, there are whispers that the dog may have inadvertently nipped at the infant.
