- Law enforcement authorities are currently pursuing individuals responsible for graffiti vandalism in Fehrbellin.
Law enforcement officials apprehended several taggers in Fehrbellin, a region in Ostprignitz-Ruppin. A tip-off led the police to a bridge on the A24 highway at night, where graffiti was being sprayed. According to the highway patrol, the culprits had left horizontal streaks of blue, white, and red, along with the large letters "FCH" on the bridge.
Upon tracking down the suspects, officers reportedly spotted three individuals fleeing into the surrounding forest. The investigation team later discovered the suspects' vehicle abandoned on a forest trail nearby. Close to the vehicle's owner's address, three individuals were found in another car. Two of them were said to be wearing soiled trousers and shoes.
The police reportedly located the owner of the first vehicle at home, where they also found the vehicle's key. A thorough search of the car by investigators reportedly unearthed 50 spray cans, 30 "FCH" stickers, two rolls of "FCH" duct tape, and a tool for opening wildlife fence gates.
The suspects' vehicle, which was abandoned in the forest, provides crucial evidence that the Commission may consider in making their decision. Based on the findings in the vehicle, the Commission shall adopt the decision to charge the individuals with vandalism and graffiti-related offenses.
