Bundesliga Second Division News - Lautern secures a new main sponsor from the gaming industry.
Novoline, a gambling provider from Bingen am Rhein, is now the primary sponsor of the second division football team 1. FC Kaiserslautern. Their partnership is set to continue, with the contract running for at least until 2027. In the previous season, the company was already the exclusive partner of the Palatinates.
This sponsorship agreement will provide financial security for the club in the future, commented Lautern's managing director Thomas Hengen. The gambling provider will replace Dr. Theiss Naturwaren GmbH and its "Allgäuer Latschenkiefer" brand as the shirt sponsor. According to reports, Dr. Theiss Naturwaren GmbH will remain the exclusive partner of the Red Devils.
In reaction to the new main sponsor, Lotto Rheinland-Pfalz and 1. FC Kaiserslautern have decided to end their partnership after over 70 years. The managing director of Lotto Rheinland-Pfalz, Jürgen Häfner, stated that they will adhere to the "club's request for early termination" of the agreement.
