For the rescue operation, the building must be partially dismantled. Rescue work should continue on Thursday. According to reports, two people, a man and a woman, died in the collapse on Tuesday evening. They likely died instantly.

According to reports from the emergency services, the accident occurred later on Tuesday evening around 11 PM for unknown reasons. An entire floor of the hotel collapsed, with 14 people in the building at the time. Five managed to escape unharmed, nine were trapped. For the emergency services, the struggle to save those trapped began immediately after the collapse.

The emergency services stated, "The following is added: Nine individuals are still trapped in the debris." Rescue operations are being intensified with the hope of securing their safe extraction on Thursday.
