- Last shows on the alfresco stages in Malta's MV
In Schwerin (dpa/mv) news, the finale of the season is approaching for three notable open-air stages in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern: the Störtebeker Festspiele in Ralswiek on Rügen, the Vineta Festspiele in Zinnowitz on Usedom, and the Piraten Open Air in Grevesmühlen.
At the Störtebeker Festspiele, "Hamburg 1401" will play one last time. This production portrays the pirates, who with their looting expeditions, caused chaos for the Hanseatic League. Since June, a grand total of 67 performances have graced the stage. Just like always, a breathtaking fireworks show will be initiated over the Great Jasmunder Bodden after the play concludes.
There are still available seats for all shows.
The Vineta Festspiele in Zinnowitz on Usedom will again dive into the myth of the submerged city. "Vineta - The Glory of the Abyss" is the performance by Vorpommersche Landesbühne. In Grevesmühlen, nestled in the northwest of the region, the Piraten Open Air welcomes you to the final show.
Just like the other organizers, there are still tickets left for all shows.
For the Piraten Open Air in Grevesmühlen, they've prepared a grand finale, featuring a performance of 'Pirates of the High Seas' in an open-air theater with a stage of other, circular cross-section.
During the construction of new facilities at the Störtebeker Festspiele in Ralswiek, they aim to incorporate a new stage with a cross-section of circular design for future performances.
