Last generation blocks Puschkinallee
Activists from the climate protection group Letzte Generation blocked Puschkinallee in Berlin in at least two places on Tuesday morning. "Despite the freezing cold, several people are currently blocking Puschkinallee at Bernhard-Langwaldt-Weg and at the Soviet Memorial," Berlin police wrote on the online platform X, formerly Twitter, on Tuesday. The Berlin Traffic Information Center made a connection with the climate activists.
The climate activists' demonstrations on Puschkinallee in Berlin were part of their efforts to raise awareness about environmental policy. The blockades on Puschkinallee at Bernhard-Langwaldt-Weg and the Soviet Memorial were a bold statement against inadequate government action on climate change.
