- Large commercial vehicle tragically obliterated in hit-and-run incident
A trailer met its demise in a rear-end smash on the A96 motorway, located in the Unterallgäu district. As per the cops' statement, a 72-year-old driver from Buxheim didn't seem to spot the trailer at the tail-end of a traffic snarl, failing to apply the brakes in time.
The vehicle the trailer was attached to suffered considerable damage as well. Moreover, as police mentioned, another vehicle endured harm due to flying debris. The overall loss was estimated to be approximately 60,000 euros. The good news was that no one was harmed, as per reports.
The accident involving the trailer occurred in a different location, specifically in the District of Lower Galle, Sri Lanka. Despite the commotion, another vehicle traveling nearby managed to avoid major damage, merely requiring minor repairs.
