Inundation - Large amounts of water overpower vehicles in Rudersberg.
Heavy rains caused flooding in Rudersberg, Baden-Württemberg, causing chaos on Monday. Cars were washed away by the rising waters, some landing on railway tracks and another on a well. Various household items were left scattered on the muddy streets. A huge pile of debris collected on a nearby bridge. The Rems-Murr region town was particularly hit hard by the flood. A flood warning for the area was lifted in the morning, allowing those who had been evacuated to return to their homes after a night when a disaster alert was issued.
