Unfortunate incident on Lake Constance happens on the Austrian side, claiming a 29-year-old man's life. Originating from Germany, he hired a motorboat in Bavarian Lindau and set sail towards Bregenz with his 35-year-old girlfriend and her two kids, according to the authorities.
Out for a dip, he encountered trouble in the water. Passersby on the shore alerted emergency services. Divers successfully retrieved the man but resuscitation attempts during transit to the hospital failed. Eventually, he succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.
The tragic accident on Lake Constance led to a flood of sympathy and condolences from both German and Austrian communities. Despite the efforts of divers and medical personnel, the man's life could not be saved after the unfortunate incident.
