Labor market figures for November are published
The Regional Directorate of the Federal Employment Agency will provide information on the situation on the Thuringian labor market in November on Thursday (10.00 a.m.). The situation has already been subdued for several weeks. In October, 64,300 people in the Free State were without a job, around 5,000 more than a year ago. The unemployment rate was 5.9 percent. Fewer new jobs were also reported compared to the 2022 supply boom. According to the regional directorate, the number of new jobs in October was the lowest in the past six years.
The publication of the labor market figures for November is expected to reveal continued challenges on the Thuringian labor market. These challenges might influence the strategies implemented by employers to attract and retain skilled workers in the future.
