Society - Kulturstiftung Sachsen supports 193 projects

In the first six months of the coming year, the Kulturstiftung Sachsen will be funding 193 projects in the arts and culture with around 1.9 million euros. As the foundation announced in Dresden on Friday, the projects relate to the performing arts and music (85 projects), visual arts (26), socioculture (20), film (19), interdisciplinary projects (16), literature (14) and industrial culture (13). The Cultural Foundation had previously received around 440 applications for funding totaling around 5.4 million euros.

The funded projects include the "WinterBühne im Schloss 2024" music theater festival by the Fürst-Pückler-Park Bad Muskau development association, the "Kästnerverse" event series by the Erich Kästner Haus für Literatur in Dresden and the 4th International Porcelain Biennale Meißen.
