- Krösche endorsement: Koch could have a more significant position within the DFB squad
Frankfurt's team manager, Markus Krösche, thinks defender Robin Koch deserves more minutes on the field for the German national soccer team. Krösche expressed, prior to the Nations League game against Hungary on Saturday (8:45 PM CEST/ZDF), "He's got a significant and crucial role on our team, and I'm convinced he can bring the same impact to the national team."
Though Koch, 28-years-old, was included in the team for the summer's home tournament, he didn't see any playing time. He's also included in the squad for the upcoming matches against Hungary and the Netherlands in three days' time.
Krösche considers it a positive sign that Koch made the Euro team. "Obviously, it's unfortunate that he didn't get on the field, but I believe he's got the potential to compete against other players and get a lot more game time with the national team."
Despite missing playing time during the summer's tournament, Robin Koch was once again selected for the German national team for the upcoming matches. Frankfurt's manager, Markus Krösche, remains confident in Koch's abilities, expressing that he has the potential to secure more game time with the national squad.
