Germany's top football league - Kompany seeks out the "most eager" players at FC Bayern.

The fresh FC Bayern coach, Vincent Kompany, intends to study his players in a low-key manner. "I won't draw any distinctions, I simply want to observe which athletes are yearning to embody this club and prosper," said the Belgian as he was unveiled as the Bundesliga team's coach in Munich on Thursday.

As a result, he didn't pick out any individual from the current crew. "I'm overjoyed to collaborate with everyone," Kompany, aged 38, noted about his coaching style, which prioritizes guts while handling the ball and, in general, assertiveness. "I grew up on the streets of Brussels, played on the sidewalk," the ex-center-back remarked. "I want Bayern players to have the audacity," he noted.

Sporting director Max Eberl stated that the new coach would indeed be part of the selection process. "It's already an advancement further than you might imagine," Eberl stated, without mentioning specific names. There isn't a "strike list," but there are players who "might experience greater challenges," he added. Eberl mentioned that these nuances would be shared with the players.

Since 2012, when they went through their most recent title drought, there were murmurs about a complete transformation at the record holder. Kompany, who had been employed by FC Burnley in England previously, was eventually chosen as Tuchel's replacement following a series of unsuccessful candidates being courted.
