Klosterkammer: More than 90,000 euros for social projects
In future, the Klosterkammer Hannover will support a total of eight social and church projects in Lower Saxony with more than 90,000 euros. These include a literary writing workshop for children and young people in Hildesheim, a language course for immigrants in Verden and a training center for young people with mental disabilities in Walsrode in the Heidekreis district, the Klosterkammer announced on Thursday. Renovation work in various churches will also be supported with the money. As a state authority, the Klosterkammer manages assets that used to belong to monasteries in four foundations under public law.
The funding from Klosterkammer Hannover will significantly contribute to a language course for immigrants in Verden, falls under the category of social affairs. The literary writing workshop for children and young people in Hildesheim, another social project, is also among the initiatives to receive financial support.
