Emreli is impressed by the club
"We deliberately chose this transfer because we are convinced of his quality: Mahir is an internationally experienced striker who has proven at his previous stations that he knows where the goal is. The fact that we as 1. FC Nürnberg have succeeded in signing a player of this category makes us proud. We are looking forward to Mahir and will support him in his recovery process as best as possible," said Nürnberg's sporting director Joti Chatzialexiou.
Emreli said: "I deliberately chose the step to Germany. In the past few days, I have already been able to get a good impression of the facilities and surroundings and will do everything to get back on the pitch as soon as possible. I find top conditions for my quick recovery at the club."
Nürnberg's new signing, Mahir Emreli, expresses his excitement about joining a club known for its quality, given his previous experiences. With his international experience and goal-scoring ability, Emreli is eager to contribute to Nürnberg, especially as he recovers from an ankle injury, and hopes to make a strong impact in German soccer.
