Fixed - Kiel Week ends with fireworks over the fjord
With the traditional fireworks "Sternenzauber over Kiel" over the Inner Harbor, the Kiel Week comes to an end on the late Sunday evening. According to the city, the colorful spectacle, in addition to an impressive drone and laser show over the fjord, also includes the crane from German Naval Yards as part of the show. The fireworks will be rounded off with lighting scenes on and under the crane. For the first time, six boats on the water will show additional light and fog effects.
The organizers are counting on around three million visitors again. At summer weather, around 1.1 million people had already celebrated in the city during the first three days. A crowd-puller was also the third EM game of the German football national team against Switzerland. According to earlier statements by the city, tens of thousands of people celebrated on the public viewing areas.
