"Kicker": FC Bayern with record sales in the 2022/23 season

FC Bayern Munich will present record figures at the Annual General Meeting, according to the German football magazine "Kicker". According to the report, turnover for the 2022/23 financial year could exceed the 800 million euro mark for the first time. In 2021/22, the Munich club generated revenue of €665.7 million, partly due to the coronavirus pandemic. The previous record dates back to the 2018/19 season before the pandemic at €750.4 million. The €100 million transfer of goalscorer Harry Kane will not yet appear in the figures as it is allocated to the current financial year.

FC Bayern Munich's stellar performance in the 2022/23 season also extended to the Champions League, as they reached the semifinals. Given their impressive financial growth, FC Bayern is seeking to challenge for not only the Bundesliga title but also the coveted Champions League trophy with their increased financial resources.
