IHK President - Keitel: "Companies have almost stopped investing"
The President of the Halle-Dessau Chamber of Industry and Commerce, Steffen Keitel, has criticized the German government for its crisis management to date. "Our companies have almost stopped investing because there is a lack of confidence," said Keitel on Wednesday. Instead of supporting companies or giving them a breather, the federal government is working through its ideologically tinged work program. The German economy is threatened with a decade of stagnation if reforms are not finally tackled.
