After two resounding victories, coach Christian Eichner's team loses on the way to the training camp. The KSC itself initiated the defeat with a mistake.

Soccer - Karlsruher SC loses test against Pilsen 2-0

Football-Second league team Karlsruher SC lost its first test game of this pre-season for the first time. After victories against the lower-class opponents FSV Kappelrodeck-Waldulm (24:0) and SV Schluchtern (16:0), the Nordbadener Viktoria lost to Pilsen with a score of 0:2 (0:1). A mistake in the team setup led to Daniel Vasulin's goal (6th minute). For the deciding goal in favor of the six-time Czech champion, it was Christophe Kabongo who scored (81st minute).

The match took place on the way to the training camp in Neukirchen am Großvenediger in Kufstein, Austria. The KSC remains in Austria until July 14. The new season begins in early August with a home game against 1. FC Nürnberg.
