EM-finalist Harry Kane and Alphonso Davies have begun preparations with Bayern Munich. As the Munich side announced, the striker and left-back underwent a mandatory medical exam upon their return from vacation in the morning. In the afternoon, they had performance diagnostics on their schedule. In the coming days, the Englishman Kane and Canadian Davies will also rejoin the German record champions' team training.

Striker Kane, like Davies, missed Munich's tour of South Korea due to back issues and other ailments during the final weeks of last season, both in Munich and with England at the Euros. The 31-year-old Kane lost to Spain in the final with the Three Lions, after which he took a vacation.

The dethroned German champions will face a tough test on Saturday (6:30 PM) in London against Kane's long-time club Tottenham Hotspur. Munich signed the goal scorer in the summer of 2023 for over 100 million euros. The team of coach Vincent Kompany will then start their competitive season on August 16 in the DFB-Pokal against second-tier newcomers SSV Ulm.

Despite missing Bayern Munich's tour of South Korea due to health issues, Harry Kane is now back and undergoing medical examinations with the team. In the coming days, the English striker will join Bayern's training sessions, preparing for their upcoming match against his former club, Tottenham Hotspur.
