Aremu's ban will affect 1. FC Kaiserslautern's upcoming matches in the 2. Bundesliga Championship. The Championship match against Hertha BSC Berlin will be played without the services of Aremu due to his suspension. The German soccer association, dfb, made this decision after reviewing the incident that occurred during the match in Rhineland-Palatinate. The Kaiserslautern team will need to find alternative options to fill the void left by Aremu for the duration of his suspension.
