Trial in Constance - Judgment: Mother allowed daughter to be sexually abused

Due to her conviction by the court for allowing her daughter to be subjected to sexual acts, a 36-year-old woman has been sentenced to five years in prison. The verdict, handed down by the Constance Regional Court, was for aiding and abetting severe sexual abuse of children in 47 cases and aiding and abetting sexual abuse of children in 15 cases, in both instances facilitating sexual acts involving minors.

The defendant, a 25-year-old man, was sentenced to a total of 7 years and 3 months imprisonment for severe sexual abuse of children in 55 cases and sexual abuse of children in 23 cases.

The incidents occurred in Friedrichshafen and Hagnau on Lake Constance - the child was eight years old at the start and ten years old at the end.

The increase in reported crimes against children in the area is a concerning trend. Despite the severity of her actions, the court's decision sends a clear message that aiding and abetting such crimes will not be tolerated.
