Judgment in the process against footballer Jerome Boateng expected for bodily harm

The public prosecutor requested a fine of 1.12 million Euro, but Boateng's defense argued for acquittal. The case revolves around a dispute between Boateng and his former partner as well as mother of his twins during a Caribbean vacation in 2018. In two previous trials, Boateng was convicted.

Boateng's defense cited his remorse and recent behavior changes as reasons for the requested acquittal in the Body injury proceedings. The Public Prosecutor's Office in Munich stood firm on their original fine of 1.12 million Euro, citing the severity of the Body harm allegations. As a Footballer and former Soccer World Champion, Boatern's case has garnered significant attention, with many in the soccer community expressing support for Jerome Boateng. After the Munich Regional Court deliberates, the final judgment in the process will determine Boateng's fate.
