Few months before the release of "Joker: Folie a Deux," a dark trailer has aligned with the sequel to the acclaimed Thriller "Joker" (2019) from Warner Bros. Studio. They released a nearly three-minute video with plenty of music and a strong interplay between Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga. Dancing together to a Sinatra-Song and kissing each other, they alternate between dark scenes in the prison and the streets of Gotham City. "Joker: Folie a Deux," directed by Todd Phillips, is set to hit theaters in early October.

Phoenix (49) returns in the role of failed comedian Arthur Fleck, who in "Joker" lives as Batman's adversary on the fringes of society. Now he is imprisoned in Arkham Asylum. Lady Gaga (38, "A Star is Born") plays the character Harley Quinn. In the Batman universe, Quinn befriends the psychologically disturbed Joker in an asylum. Since she first saw him, she no longer feels so alone, Quinn says in the trailer about the violent Fleck. The term "Folie a Deux" describes a psychological disorder that is transmitted from an affected person to a nearby person. With his "Joker" role, Phoenix won the 2020 Oscar for Best Actor.
