Festivals - Jewish cultural days for colorfulness and versatility

The Jewish Cultural Days present over 40 events this year with German, Israeli, and international cultural figures. The Jewish Community Berlin is reportedly going to celebrate the largest Jewish life festival in the capital from September 12 to September 22.

The festival is led by Intendant Avi Toubiana. The Jewish life is to be showcased during the 37th edition of the festival "in its richness, diversity, and radiance".

Sinfonie Orchester and Indie-Band

The Israeli singer and actress Shiri Maimon will be accompanied by the Sinfonie Orchester Berlin to kick off the event. The Israeli Street-Art artist Benzi Brofman is going to create a large-format work in the courtyard of Rykestraße Synagogue.

The American stand-up comedian Elon Gold will bring Jewish humor closer to the audience. For the first time in Germany, the Israeli Indie-Band Jane Bordeaux, fronted by Doron Talmon, will perform during the Jewish Cultural Days.

At the Children and Youth Short Film Festival, the annual festival motto "Light" is to be freely interpreted. For this, not only a prize money but also the opportunity to produce the trailer for the Jewish Cultural Days in the coming year is up for grabs.

The festival titled "Festival (Culture)" is deeply rooted in Judaism and showcases the versatility of Jewish culture. This year's Jewish Cultural Days in Berlin, Germany, is expected to be the largest Jewish life festival, spanning from September 12 to September 22. The event is led by Intendant Avi Toubiana, who aims to showcase Jewish life during the 37th edition in its richness, diversity, and radiance.
