Six months before the start of the Hamburg digital trade fair OMR, the first prominent speakers have been announced. US artist Jeff Koons and Signal CEO Meredith Whittaker are among those expected in the exhibition halls in May. Author, podcaster and entrepreneur Tim Ferriss ("The 4-Hour Workweek") will also be speaking at the festival.

German celebrities from business, politics, society and culture will also be present at the two-day event - including politicians Gregor Gysi and Karl-Theodor zu Guttenberg, singer Vanessa Mai and 1Komma5Grad founder Philipp Schröder. In total, more than 750 speakers will talk about their experiences in the digital world, share their insights and give OMR visitors tips.

In 2023, a good 72,000 people visited the digital festival. The trade fair is mainly attended by movers and shakers and decision-makers from national and international digital, media and marketing companies. In this respect, the OMR Festival is considered one of the largest trade fairs in Europe. In addition to the content, the program also includes entertainment by well-known musicians. In 2023, for example, Macklemore, Fettes Brot, K.I.Z. and Jan Delay took part. The OMR Festival around the Hamburg TV tower starts on May 7, 2024.
