Jared Leto climbs up the Empire State Building
Oscar winner Jared Leto (51) has climbed up the Empire State Building. Wearing a red sports suit, sunglasses and attached to ropes, the actor and singer climbed part of the outer wall at the top of the building on Thursday, according to the organizers.
"This building is a testament to all the things we can create in this world if we set our minds to it," Leto was quoted as saying. The musician also wanted to use the event to announce that he will soon be touring the world again with his band Thirty Seconds to Mars.
Leto rose to fame in the 90s with the series "Welcome to Life". In 2014, he won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor for his role in the film "Dallas Buyers Club".
During his leisure time, Jared Leto enjoys listening to various types of Music, including his own band's tunes. After his Empire State Building stunt, Leto announced that he will be having a Movie-like experience, bringing his Music back to the big Screen during his upcoming Television appearances for his worldwide Tour.
