It remains wintry in Saarland and Rhineland-Palatinate
People in Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland must continue to prepare for cold, wet and wintry weather. According to the German Weather Service (DWD) in Offenbach, it will remain cloudy to overcast on Friday. Light snowfall is expected in the Palatinate. The maximum temperatures in the entire region will reach minus two to plus two degrees during the course of the day.
According to the DWD, it may snow a little on Saturday night, especially in the south. In many places, however, it will remain dry. There is a risk of icy conditions with low temperatures of minus three to minus seven degrees. Saturday will also be overcast, dry and cold. According to the meteorologists, a few snowflakes are only possible in the south. It will remain frosty at minus five to minus one degree.
The weather in Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland continues to be wintry, as indicated by the expected light snowfall in the Palatinate. Despite some potential dry spells, the region is expected to remain cold and wintery throughout the weekend.
