Weather - It continues to rain in Hesse
In many places in Hesse on Wednesday, it's worth having an umbrella to hand when you leave the house. The German Weather Service is forecasting heavier rain in some areas. The day will be cloudy to overcast, but temporary clearing is possible. Temperatures will be mild at seven to ten degrees.
It will remain cloudy on Thursday night, with showers in places at first. Sleet is also possible at higher altitudes in the Rhön. Temperatures will drop to two to four degrees, in the higher elevations of the low mountain ranges to zero degrees. According to the DWD, there is a risk of icy conditions there.
Thursday will also be very cloudy and often dull at first. There will be light drizzle in some places, with the possibility of snow drizzle at high altitudes. Highs will be between four degrees in the north and eight degrees in the south, and around two degrees at higher altitudes.
