Israeli military: Four Hamas captives rescued alive from the Gaza Strip.

A group of four Israelis were taken hostage by the extremist Islamic group Hamas during their assault on southern Israel on October 7th, while they were enjoying a music festival. The released captives include 25-year-old Noa Argamani, 21-year-old Almog Meir Jan, 27-year-old Andrey Kozlov, and 40-year-old Schlomi Ziv, as per the military.

The conflict between Israel and Hamas in the Gaza Strip is ongoing since the latter launched an extensive attack on the country on the same date. Over a thousand people lost their lives, and 251 individuals have been taken hostage to the Gaza Strip, the Israeli army reported. 116 of these captives are reportedly still in the custody of Hamas, with 41 said to have already passed away.

Israel has been retaliating with a major military operation in the Gaza Strip since the confrontation started on October 7th. The Hamas-controlled health ministry, whose figures cannot be independently verified, claims that more than 36,800 people have been killed in the process.
